Theme

A cross product of Gundam’s notorious Ball (the MG Bandai kit) and a fictional NASA vessel called RACCOON, used for salvage of orbital debris.

I dislike modelling weaponry, so I created a non-military space theme for this kit. The winch and claws suited the fictional theme well.

Process

I chopped one of the machine guns and removed the other. To replace it I designed and 3D printed a laser power pack on a Form 2.

​

Paint was all rattle can, and metallics are Gundam and Sakura pens.

 

Decals were drawn and printed on Testors decal paper.
